Our GageMux® USB gage interface is compatible with all SPC software programs!

The 500-40-USB-TG Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS 4-Port GageMux® USB gage interface is similar to the 500-40-USB-1 but adds a toggle switch for each port. The user can send data from individual footswitch ports or using the individual toggle switches.

Our GageMux® USB has revolutionized data collection and storage. It allows users to connect hundreds of different types of measuring devices and gages to an automated data collection system such as a PC or hand-held computer into any SPC software data collection package.

Like our standard GageMux® interface, this 4-Port GageMux® USB universal gage interface supports four (4) inputs, can daisy-chain 100's of gages, and reads directly fromMitutoyo gages or Digimatic output gage cables such as our FlashCable®. TheGageMux® USB gage interface has LED indicators that communicate to the user if a reading is sent correctly to the computer, if a gage is reading incorrectly, and which output mode you have configured (USB or RS232). The GageMux® USB gage interface provides configurable options using rotary switches or commands stored in memory. It has a red LED for each port displaying errors, a RS232 pass thru port and connects 100’s of gages to a RS232 or USB serial port.

All ASDQMS GageMux® USB gage interfaces have a simple, user friendly setup – your computer automatically installs the USB driver when the GageMux® gage interface is plugged into your computer USB port---just plug and play! If you choose to use theGageMux® as a RS232 9-pin output device, simply change the internal switch settings, connect a serial cable (not included), and the GageMux® will send data to your computer RS232 COM port. No need for additional drivers or external cable converters.

Since its invention, the updated functionalities of the GageMux® USB universal gage interface include faster speed and more gage compatibility. You can now send readings up to 100 times faster than with ordinary serial connections.
