Shipping policy

Metrology & Quality Services Ltd will execute your order promptly & deliver the goods via our designated carrier.

Items in stock will typically be dispatched within 2/3 days from receipt of the order
Should an item be out of stock you will be advised as to the expected delivery/ dispatch date by our sales team

The shipping charge is for delivery within the mainland of the United Kingdom but excluding the Highlands & Isles .

Shipping will be to your designated address & post code – a PO Box number cannot be accepted

The charge itself is based on the web price of the goods, however in some instances such as heavy or bulky consignments an additional surcharge may apply – you will be informed of this at the time of ordering by a member of our sales team

If delivery is outside the UK then you will be advised by telephone fax or email as to the delivery charge by one of our sales team .It will be necessary if you are within the European Union & you are Vat registered to provide us with your current Vat registration number – if it is not supplied or you are not Vat registered then you will be charged UK Vat at the designated rate as of the date of the transaction

You must inspect the goods as soon as is reasonably possible after delivery & shall be within 7 days of the date of delivery give notice to Metrology & Quality Services in detail of :

[i] Any defect in the goods that is apparent on reasonable examination In this case MQS shall at our discretion, replace or refund the purchase price of the goods. In any event you must refuse to sign or accept the consignment if it shows signs of damage .
[ii] Any shortfall in goods delivered must be reported to Metrology & Quality Services Ltd & we at our discretion will deliver the missing items or refund the price of the undelivered product/s
If you fail to give us any such notice, the goods shall conclusively presumed to be in all respects in accordance with the order & free from apparent defects & you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods accordingly

 

Minimum Order Charge

There is a Minimum Order Charge of £25.00 nett (excluding carriage and VAT) to cover administration costs
