The EC-500AZ is a portable, non-destructive paint thickness gauge designed for automotive inspections. It auto-detects Fe/NFe/Zn substrates, offers ±(3%+1?m) accuracy with AVG/MAX/MIN stats and HS/nS modes (High Stability & Normal Scan). With backlit LCD, zero calibration and durable ruby probe, it’s ideal for used car buyers, detailers and body shops seeking reliable coating inspection.
Auto Substrate Detection: Built-in magnetic and eddy-current sensor auto-recognizes Fe, NFe and Fe+Zn. The EC-500AZ digital paint thickness gauge quickly checks coatings without manual switching, ideal for car inspections and detailing.
High Accuracy: Measures 0–2000?m coatings with ±(3%+1?m) accuracy and 0.1?m resolution (0–100?m). Helps identify repainted areas, body filler or previous repairs during car appraisal or quality checks.
